Racks Unlimited is taking a pro-active look at assuring your storage systems; fixed or transportable, metal or plastic, form an important part of your health and safety procedures. Preventing serious accidents from occurring and ensuring that old or aging systems are safe to use. The preventative maintenance program will have one of our qualified technicians conducting a thorough examination, identifying any potential issues before they occur and recommend replacement or repairs needed in the form of documentation including pictures.
Our Preventative Maintenance Program is recommended if material, articles or things are placed or stored on a structure that is a rack or stacking structure, and each time a structure is modified. Stacking structures are industrial pallet racks, moveable shelf racks, stacker racks, drive-in and drive-through racks and cantilever racks. They are typically made of cold- formed or hot- rolled steel.
It is you as an employer that must ensure workers are protected when they use any apparatus or structure in the workplace. Health and safety requires reports must indicate that apparatus and structures comply with the applicable sections of the Regulation for Industrial Establishments.
